Located near to the town. Just a short drive away from town. Very nice atmosphere and scenic views. Host are helpful to come and assist us when our 4WD could not drive in to the driveway due to the snow. We were allowed to park our SUV on the road. Very nice, comfortable place. We loved the place so much.

Gorgeous unit and tastefully designed. A lot of people have pointed out that it offers little privacy due to the many glass panels and windows but we didn't find it a problem as there were ample blinds in all the rooms and shared spaces. The fact that each room had its own bathroom was a huge plus point. The kitchen was well-appointed and had everything we needed to cook a simple breakfast. Location was fantastic too. Easily the nicest place we stayed at during our trip around the South Island.

We really enjoyed the beautiful place. It is super classy, clean, spacious and sense of good taste throughout. Everything you need is there. The location is also excellent, very easy and short walk to the lake, yet it is very quiet and private for peaceful time of rest and relaxation.

The house is carefully fitted with good quality and well thought out items to make your stay easy and comfortable . The rooms are large and the house is warm and cosy . The outlook is spectacular . The staff who you collect the keys from are so willing and helpful to try to suit extra requests and are super friendly . Would love to stay again , could not fault anything . The house situation is quiet and restful .

Exceptional welcome by the host! We got a lot of information about the area and details about stargazing which was possible from the lawn directly besides the property (weather dependent though, we had a super clear night). The location was amazing, directly opposite the lake with great views (perfect for a stroll and run along the lakeside). The well known Church of the Good Shepard is either a few minutes drive or 15 minute walk away. The room was very clean and we felt comfortable throughout the whole stay! Would definitely stay here again!
