The room was airy with two separate sliding doors giving access to the garden and decks with tables and chairs for dining outdoors. The room got the morning sun. The bathroom was spacious, and two glass walls of the shower opened right up. The breakfast was laid out for the guests from 8 to 9am, and included mostly breads and sugary things and dairy, which is typical for European breakfasts. I don't eat sugar or dairy, but managed to find enough: boiled eggs, fresh fruit and cold cuts.

Exceptional place to stay. Hosts were amazing and their beautiful friendly dog Jaz. Loved being able to walk to nearby restaurants. View of kaikoura from our bedroom was spectacular. Cooked breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend to all.

LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION! Lots of nice touches in the cabin and big parking space. Hosts very prompt with replies and help. A bit pricey but for one night , why not?

Felt at home right away. The complimentary food and drink was very nice. The design and cleanliness of the chalet was great. Some people have mentioned the noise from the main road but it didnt bother us. The double glazed door’s and windows are exceptional. Feeding the animals was fun.
