Cabins in Pātan

We really enjoyed our stay at Solid Rock - beautiful room, incredible views, delicious food (dinner on arrival was amazing! tasted so good!), and such welcoming friendly hosts. We were especially grateful for Simon’s suggestion of a walk down to Pharping through the mountains and prayer flags - so beautiful! Would definitely visit again if we are in the area in the future!

Trekking Lodge is a cozy and budget-friendly place perfect for backpackers, solo travelers, and trekkers looking for a quiet stay near the busy Thamel area. The location is excellent—just a few minutes' walk from the center of Thamel but far enough to enjoy some peace and quiet. The rooms are simple yet clean, with comfortable beds and hot showers, which are much appreciated after long days of trekking. The Wi-Fi works well, and there’s a rooftop area where you can relax and enjoy the city view. Staff are friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with trekking tips or travel arrangements. It’s not a luxury hotel, but if you're looking for value for money, a good night's rest, and a laid-back atmosphere in the heart of Kathmandu, Trekking Lodge is a great choice. Highly recommended for budget travelers and nature lovers
