We very much enjoyed the Nepalese style and atmosphere of the place. The owner is a legend of mountain climbing. Everyone knows him and he knows everyone in Lukla. He was very helpful and efficient in organizing a b plan when our flight to Katmandu was cancelled. There is no other place in Lukla if you want to experience Nepal.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Panorama Lodge in Namche Bazaar. We stayed here for two nights on our way to Everest Base Camp and another night on our return to Lukla. The food was exceptional — hands down the best we had during our entire EBC journey. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. A special shout-out to Bhoomika for her warmth and attentiveness. Mingma was a fantastic host who shared insightful stories and information about Sherpa culture, which really added depth and meaning to our stay. The room was very comfortable, with hot showers, electric blankets, and free in-room charging. The location is also very convenient within Namche Bazaar, making it easy to explore and go on acclimatization hikes. We’re so glad we stayed here and would highly recommend Panorama Lodge to anyone trekking in the Everest region.

Almost everything was perfect. A good hotel like facilities for the price of a lodge on the Everest base camp trek. Meticulously designed and clean rooms, very warm due to double insulation. Even the washroom was insulated, such a blessing in the cold. Comfortable beds and clean washrooms. And the charging and wifi is free in the room price, which is not common in places at such altitude. The restaurant was almost like a fine dining with attentive service, great food, presented aesthetically. Dinner started with warm towels, which is a luxury in such cold weather. The lady running the lodge was extremely warm, friendly and hospitable. She even kept our extra luggage and didn't charge although I didn't stay at her place during return. Very touched with her hospitality.
