Overall this was a magical stay and we absolutely loved the experience. The location is breathtaking and I am so glad we decided to stay here rather than in the main centre. We were surrounded by snow and could play and walk in whereas this wouldn't have really been much of an option if we stayed in a hotel in the centre. The cabin was so cute, warm and perfect for what we needed. It was quite snug and a little small and maybe with 2 kids rather than 1 it may have been a tight squeeze. But overall it worked perfectly for us. I loved the deck out the front and back too. It was cool to have a glass roof - I guess the idea was to see the northern lights but it was covered in snow, which is to be expected. We even saw the northern lights from the lodge! The breakfast was great and we found quite convenient. We just showed up each day and paid at the front desk. Staff were also very helpful and friendly. I didn't want to leave and I would recommend this place to anyone. If I return to Tromso I would definitely stay here again!

The house was very comfortable, and we had everything we needed for our stay. The owner went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. The location of the property is wonderful. I will definitely keep it in mind if we every come back to Norway.

Perfect place if you want to spend some time outside the city ! The owners put a lot of care to make this place really comfortable. The place was clean and owners' attention to details ensured that our vacation was seamless. The house is placed in the perfect place to watch aurora. We were not lucky enough because of the weather, but who knows - maybe we will travel there again :)

It’s like a fairytale! The accommodation feels like home and is super authentic, you’ll find it spacious, easily accommodate the amount of people written in the advert. Reindeer visiting you sometimes and occasional humpback whale. I found it has everything you could ask for in the kitchen. We cooked a few times and made breakfast every day. It’s fully equipped. The antique furniture is so comfy you wonder why we are nowadays buying couches and mdf stuff. Never change a thing about this gem! We absolutely loved it!
