This was my first stay in a camp ever and I have to say that I am very satisfied. I did a right choice and selected a small hut (1 night stay) and I felt very cosy in it. It is a great camp 2 km from Urk and midst fantastic nature, fantastically cared lawns and sufficient offer of food & snacks. Reception staff very friendly, you can order snacks at the reception and pick them up next morning for a fresh breakfast. A pity I could stay only 1 night but I had to go on (I travelled by car and did 4000 km in 8 days visiting 7 countries). There is also a pool and playground for kids and pony horses. And there are 3 beautiful cats in the camp going around. One of them was insisting and I let him in the hut and he jumped on a bed immediatelly to lie down. I like cats and please my request to camp staff: please keep some food and water for cats so they can eat and drink and enjoy in the camp, too. Thank you.

Great little place for a day or two in Kampen, nicely furnished, a very practical kitchenette with everything you could need, a very quiet area by the river & the use of bikes really helpful.

Location was great, very close to Giethoorn. Quiet rural location. Nicely set out with 2 bedrooms, comfy little lounge room and roomy bathroom.

We enjoyed our 2 nights stay in this place. Caban is small but well organized and clean. Private garden very appreciable. Parking the car nearby in the village was not a problem We arrived after checkib time however Hosts arranged so that we could do self checkin.. Supermarket and cafeteria are nearby. Vollenhove is beautifu as a village,l with very typical houses, and a nice park. I recommend !
