Pieter has been one of the most kind, responsive and welcoming host we've even meet. The place is equipped with everything you would need. It's located in front of the river and there's greenery all around. The master bedroom's bed was amazingly confortable, perfect to have some quality rest after exploring the Netherlands. There is only good things I can tell about this place... ahh yes, we loved the hens :)

We had a wonderful and relaxing week taking day trips and exploring the local area. The location was perfect, Amsterdam, The Hague, Kasteel de Haar, Keukenhof and Rotterdam all within 45 minutes drive (some less than 30 minutes away). We had lovely walks, beautiful views and all the comforts of home. A lot of thought has gone into the renovation of the lodge and it is the thoughtful little touches that really stood out (fresh flowers, a basket of groceries to get us going). Thank you again for a fantastic week, we will be back again.

Perfect place to stay. Wonderful host. Great location for visiting the Netherlands. A large garden area, a great window view. The little extras such as a packet of biscuits, wine, beer, orange juice and fresh flowers just added to the overall great experience. Many lovely details like pictures, cactus-like lamp etc.

A truly lovely and cozy holiday cottage – charming and spotlessly clean. We found it very convenient, with all the necessary amenities readily available. The exceptionally warm hospitality truly stood out – the complimentary wine, beer, juice, cookies, and water were such a lovely touch. Highly recommended; we will definitely be back!

Beautiful property and cozy chalet. The hosts are very kind and quick with any requests. The horses on the property were very friendly and stopped by to say hello. We also enjoyed a day on the rented bicycles too!
