The park is stunning, with a lovely little playground at the water's edge. Despite some traffic noise from the nearby main road, the park setting feels close to nature - lots of birdsong abounds! The lodge is spacious, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. There isn't much in the way of shops and cafés in the immediate surroundings, but Vathorst train station with direct trains to various towns and cities is just a short walk away.

The boat house was exactly as shown in the photo and much nicer and very clean. The mattresses were nice and firm. Beautiful spot for relaxing and enjoying boat ride to the nearest lake. Robert was very responsive to any queries that we had. We were sorry that our stay was very short here, and we will definitely come back here if we come back to Netherland again. Beautiful and peaceful location with amazing sunrises and sunsets with views across the water even during a cold, wet week at the end of October! The facilities and bathroom were very clean, the kitchen was fully equipped and the beds were comfy. There lovely villages of Breukelen and Maarssen are close by with great train links using the free Park and Ride from Breukelen into Amsterdam or Utrecht.
