Really fabulous. All the staff were very warm and welcoming. The lodge is exceptional, the food is excellent and we had a very relaxing stay.

this place is really nice personnel is helpful facilities are great and clean and excellent location i stayed their with my family and got two rooms one next to each other. the day we had check out they kept our baggage till afternoon when we came back from a tour and then we departed so it was very good.

It was just what we needed after a long flight.

Excellent stay in a sanctuary close to the airport and Windhoek. If you want to spend the first night or last night close to Windhoek, this is a great option. I would suggest to stay at least two nights to have time to participate in the various wildlife activities they offer on the premises. Corne met us with welcome drinks at the reception and gave us all the necessary information we needed for our stay. He and the rest of the staff have been very helpful and responsive. If you read my review you probably have read as well some other recent reviews, as I did and I almost cancelled my stay here. I'm so glad I didn't, because we had a wonderful stay, one night was just too short. The recent very negative reviews definitely don't do justice to this great place that has been created with a much deeper reason than just being a lodge. Don't expect a luxury lodge at the top end, but that is not what you are paying anyway. The cost is totally justified for what you get. We stayed in chalet number one, very convenient next to the main building with the restaurant, reception and common reading area. Our room was super clean and nothing was missing, everything well stocked, towels, coffee, tea and minibar. There are definitely no rats in the room, my guess is that some guests might have mistaken the rock hyrax for rats. It could happen if you leave the sliding windows to the deck open that some curious animals enter your room, the instructions to always close the doors is clearly marked, even baboons could enter and they could really mess around. But aren't the animals one of the reason why we come to visit Namibia? Just don't let them enter your room. We had a wonderful sunset horse ride which Cindy, the caretaker of the horses. She is very calm and did a wonderful job and her colleague prepared us a sundowner for our last sunset in Namibia out in the wilderness, amazing! The 4 course diner was delicious and so was the breakfast!

The food was the best I’ve had in Africa 0ver the last 6 weeks for stand out flavours and how it was cooked. Impressive and reasonably priced. The staff were brilliant. The vistas superb and the 2 pools really good. The birdlife was great too.

Amazing stay, especially the restaurant/boma experience

We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway spot. The price was just right, and the scenery absolutely breathtaking. From the moment we arrived, the hostess miss Magdelena made us feel so welcome with her warmth and helpfulness. The rooms were conditioned and spotless, and the pool was a dream crystal clear and clearly well cared for. Every detail was thoughtfully handled, making our stay truly exceptional. Highly recommended!
