Lodge with the most beautiful sunset seen in Namibia. The room has a classic style, spacious and with animals that approach near the lodge. There is also an artificial waterhole with a post for animal sighting. The dinner both inside and outside was fantastic. Highly recommended.

Solitaire roadhouse is in the tiny settlement of Solitaire that boasts garage facilities, fuel, a general store, a café/restaurant, and a bakery that has what is generally regarded as the best apple crumble in Namibia. The road house itself is beautifully set around a swimming pool and covered recreation area. The staff are exceptionally helpful and I would certainly stay here again. The location is quirky with a number of old cars sitting at the front and ancient road signs adorn the general store.
