Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

Perfect location I stayed in the AJ Residence and also the AC Residence, both in the same area, identical rooms and comfort. Very confortable and nicely decorated room. I appreciated the fridge, the electric rolling shutter with remote control, the modern lighting with sensitive switchers. And above all: the most proactive and responsive communication with a residence’s manager I’ve ever had. Really worth the price.

The staff were fantastic. Very helpful, polite and always ready to help! Loved the beach, it’s so quiet we would sometimes have it to ourselves! I didn’t have time for any of the activities as I wanted to prioritise relaxation but there was a wide range that looked great. The buffets were delicious. The distance from Kota Kinabalu is quite far (45 min-1 hour drive) so if you book this place, book with that in mind. However they do offer a shuttle service 3 times a day so that’s great.

Staff Service - Front desk registration office was unfriendly. But well done to shutter service to send frequent guest to different block. Breakfast - Breakfast spread was really poor. The food taste was poor, the option of food also limited. Price - expensive compared to the service we received. Worse part is, we have to pay additional RM30 for the stain in the hand towel upon check out.

The cabin is huge (hence why it's weird the bathroom so tiny). The bed was comfy with good pillows, although a bit too soft for me. Lovely/amazing views and perfect for bird watching. Kettle mugs, etc, which was good for a morning coffee. Good towels. Good AC.

They did a very good job decorating the place. For example we had a little wooden window with shutters that overlooked the street. It was cute like a Swiss chalet. It is of course near the center of town so there's lots of city nose all around, but then again, you're walking distance from everything. Also as far as parking goes, they have street parking and I was concerned about my motorcycle overnight, but they let me park on the sidewalk and everything was fine. It was a great experience and we would definitely go back!

Staff was super friendly, rooms were clean, quiet and spacious, great shower, great view over city and water. At night there is live music and great cocktails with or without alcohol. Bringing your own food in is allowed. We took a quiet morning swim and had the most amazing breakfast with so many different options in the huge buffet. We loved this place at the end of our stay in basic jungle cabins/dorms and water chalets and would recommend it greatly.
