We were staying at the hotel 2 nights. If we knew that we love it that much, we would choose to stay longer. From the check in moment you feel you are more than welcome here. All the staff members truly think of every detail you may need. We had breakfasts and dinners, which were so perfect, made of fresh products and served very nice. We have read some comments, that there are limited options of food, but this is boutique hotel with unique attitude, there only 11 chalets, and they can't offer buffet with unlimited products, which they will tbrow away later, it's wasteful. So it's more personal when you get what you want from the menu. And how cool is that option that your bed is made for you every evening? :) Oh, forgot to mention that chalet has the same entrance as the Chamarel park, so you enter it for free, just say that you are going to chalet (except sands, they are not included). But! Every time we entered the park we went to see waterfall :) Views are more than stunning, we have never seen more beautiful views than here. Had an exceptional stay here. The hosts are some of the kindest people I‘ve met on the island. Nice outdoor kitchen with all necessary utensils. Bathroom was clean and spacious.

Spacious apartment with fully equipped kitchen, living room, bedroom with large bed, en-suite bathroom and a very fair price for solo travelers. Rooftop terrasse with an almost 360degrees view including ocean and mountains. Everything is very clean and you get every answer you need. Even a doctor coming home will be arranged for you if necessary, not to mention all the love to get well again as soon as possible. :) 5min walk to the big supermarket, 5-10min walk to Gris Gris beach. The stay here is an experience, the whole domain is very pretty and the staff is so present and friendly. The little farm with animals, the awesome food and the beautiful nature is the highlight here. Would definitely book again!

Incredible location, beautiful scenery and very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed 3 nights and didn't leave the property as we didn't have a car but we were very happy after a busy week to stay at La Vieille Cheminee and just relax. We had great weather and the shop on the property had everything we needed for our evening BBQ. We spent our time enjoying the property's treks and cooling down in the pool, which was clean. Although the property was full, it felt like we had it to ourselves. The highlight every morning was when our delicious breakfast basket was delivered. I highly recommend this accommodation and would love to go back.
