We spent a wonderful week at this beautiful new small hotel, nestled like a botanical garden between the ocean and the forest. It’s lovingly built and run by a fantastic family, and from the very first moment you feel completely at home in this vibrant natural paradise. On Nosy Komba there are no cars or tuc-tuc, just peace and quiet. The bungalows are spotlessly clean, with a modern design that blends local materials and thoughtful details. The food is fresh, local, and absolutely delicious, and the service couldn’t be better. A heartfelt thank you to Spela, her husband Borut, and their daughter for their warmth, availability, and wonderful recommendations. Their dedication and passion for bringing their dream to life shines through in every detail.

Very welcoming staff and a lovely location. A special mention to Ornella who really looked after us. The lemurs come at sundown for bananas which is really special and was the highlight of our stay. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The chef provides options based on what he has & cooks tasty dishes including fresh fish & prawns. The owner ( Jean Michel) was very helpful and arranged 3 days of Scuba diving for us as well as a trip to Lokobe to see the wildlife. I would recommend for a few days of peace & tranquility.

We had such a lovely stay at Tamarin Lodge. The location of the bungalows is fantastic, being walking distance to some local restaurants and the local market. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Special mention must be made of how beautiful and lush the garden area is and if you’re lucky you’ll spot some lemurs in the trees above. Lovely place, lovely staff, has everything you need. A little far from everything but a great getaway. we had scooters to move around so it was perfect. Owner was very helpful too. Would recommend.
