Our best stay in Sri Lanka so far. The cottages are spacious, clean. Relaxing on the terrace is a pure pleasure. Peace, quiet, beautiful nature and close to the main street. The host is a fantastic and friendly man, he organized a safari for us at a very good price. The Sri Lankan breakfast is a masterpiece. We regret very much that we could stay there only one night.

I was impressed by all of the staff within the hotel, even when i asked if they could organize hiring a vehicle for the evening they were able to arrange everything. SUPERB hotel with many facilities. Very clean throughout and service provided was excellent. surely my next visit will end with the safari with this hotel.

Hotel room big and very clean very beautiful environment we feel Sri Lankan real hospitality and we feel Sri Lankan village life. We went for the safari, we stayed in a very rural area surrounded by nature to make the experience even better. On arrival we were offered a cooking class in the evening which was excellent. Sujee and his wife are so lovely and he is so knowledgeable about the safari. The hotel itself is very well built and kept and high quality. We went on a all day safari from around 10am, lunch included, and saw so much on the day, I would highly recommend a longer safari if you can afford it as it’s really worth it.

Michael is a person with a kind heart. It was great to meet him and to know a bit more about his life and the place. He made all the decoration himself and everything is very original. The place had everything we needed, it was quiet, clean and comfortable. Also very affordable. Michael can propose you some affordable safari tours if you ask him. Thank you for your hospitality

Super starting point to make a safari. The environment there is incredibly beautiful and relaxing and feels like being in the middle of paradise. The hosts were very eager to make our stay enjoyable. And the food… the food was so delicious!

We had a relaxing two days in nature at the homespun Glimra eco lodge on our way to Uda Walawe safari park. It was great to meet and chat to our helpful and attentive hosts Roshani and Nishanka, who are at the beginning of their journey making a larger lodging ground, and it was special to stay in their first house made by Nishanka himself. We enjoyed our afternoon canoe ride by a local fisherman, and spotting birds and animals by the lake
