Fantastic stay at Koragaha Lodge. The room and bathroom were very spacious and comfortable. The gardens are expansive and carefully attended to - and having access to a pool was bonus. Praveen and his team were very attentive and we enjoyed delicious meals throughout our stay. Thank you!

It was great stay for 2 nights. The hotel is only four rooms (chalets) with a pool and beautiful garden. Tasty food in the restaurant in the hotel (the only option to eat as there is nothing close by). We enjoyed the stay with my wife.

We really enjoyed our stay at Yala Village Eco Tree House. The family and Stuff are super lovely and caring. We had a campfire, played games and enjoyed the noices of the animals. The rooms are easy but clean & comfortablE. We also booked our Yala safari with them and were lucky to see elefants, leopard etc. All in all we highly recommand to stay at this place!

We took the bushlark villa, which was sensational. It is beautifully appointed, with a four poster bed, quality furniture and detail, and wonderful staff who are so attentive, helpful, and just lovely. Nothing was too much trouble and the attention to detail was on point. The villa was clean and secure, the safe was a large one for our big laptops and all our stuff, and the mini bar had wine and beer. The chef was excellent and all the team couldn’t help enough. We only booked 2 days in advance, and arranged our tour of Yala separately through GetYourGuide (we went zone 5 as it was 30 minutes away) but they do it too. We saw elephants, one leopard, monkeys, loads of birds and found the afternoon 4 hour tour plenty, without spending all day in the park - but beware you might miss the leopard depending on circumstance. They warn you that you might not see wildlife - but we saw elephants, birds and deers the moment we arrived. The boat ride and bird tour on site were brilliant and a must do. The guy who did my bird tour was so knowledgeable, he also took me through plants and loads of wildlife facts and loads of other facts about Sri Lanka - he was excellent - it’s 6:30am though - but well worth it!! We did 2 nights, which we thought was enough, other people were there longer and were loving it.

Fantastic location for peace and quiet, being positioned down a sandy track and next to a lake, teeming with wildlife. A metal fence kept any crocodiles away. Laksi was a marvelous host and made us so welcome. Very spacious rooms with a good hot shower. Pool was also very soothing. Not many restaurants nearby so we ate with the hosts, all good value and filling. Laksi arranged a half day safari. The driver was great and we saw a sleeping leopard and loads of elephants and crocodiles plus so many birds. Expensive but worth it. Very friendly cats.

Staying here felt like luxury for us, everything seems to be brand new and with a clean and modern furniture. Room was huge, and we didn't expect to have a bath with nice hot water. The place is very peaceful surrounded by the forest, and just 15 minutes from kataragama temple complex, which is a must see during sunset time.. I really would have spent a week just here!

Very elegant facility. Staff are super respectful. They do their best to make you feel you are special guest. Cottage is spotless and very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast have chef’s touch. It was an unforgetable experience for us to spend a night there.
