We are a Sri Lankan couple who travel around the country frequently, and this was truly one of the best stays we’ve experienced. The hosts were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel comfortable throughout our stay. The breakfast was the highlight — the best we had during our entire trip. It featured a wonderful selection of authentic Sri Lankan dishes, all freshly prepared and full of flavour. Everything about this place exceeded our expectations. So close to the airport and the free drop-off at 5am was excellent. Given a free Lion beer and cold water when I arrived. I felt very well looked after.

The super friendly staff, who went out of their way to make our stay memorable (eg when my daughter hurt herself they produced a toy elephant for her to keep, or making different dishes of food because had never tried them). Added to this the very relaxed vibe of the place made it the perfect place to end our holiday.

I have no words to express my gratitude for such a wonderful host. Danah was great making my 2 nights staying there so good. I don't know what to mention first : the clean ,nice smelling bed linen and the bright room, the awesome meal that I've been offered at the Christmas day, the tasty papaya offered the next day to me by Danah father, the late check out ( 6pm) for free, the soul to soul chatting with Danah, the nice , authentic neighbourhood, the amazing sunset by the beach ( few meters away) , Danah's effort to improve the place ( bathroom first , he says). All in all it was an unepectable great experience for my transit to the next destination. Thank you, Danah! Greetings to your wonderful parents!
