The individual houses are located in the forest with a lot of amazing animals and green plants. A rooms are really clean, comfortable and well equipped. The hosts are extremely kind and polite people, who can arrange a jeep safari in the Yala National Park if you need. With the delicious dinner in the garden was an unforgettable experience for me staying here and it was my favorite accomodation during our three weeks in Srí Lanka. (out of 8)

Awesome stay close to the one entrance to Yala. The owners helped us organize a full day safari with packed breakfast bags and lunch. Very friendly people working here! Rooms are comfortable with nice beds and well working AC. It feels like living in the jungle with monkeys often spotted in the trees around the hotel.

We had an amazing stay! The team was incredibly accommodating and generous—surprising us with a free upgrade and always ready to help, even with last-minute requests like organizing a safari and a fishing trip. The food was delicious, and Jula, who manages the house, was both precise and friendly. Dimuthu and his family were attentive and always willing to go the extra mile to meet our needs. Very well located, closed to the Yala National Park (but not near the park entrance). It is in the middle of nowhere, so you can see the stars during the warm night. Swimming pool in the middle of nature like the eco Lodge itself. They serve local food, but you can also get continental breakfast. It can happen to see elephant if you are very lucky.

Set within 10 km of Tissa Wewa and 25 km of Situlpawwa, The Forest Chalet offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Tissamaharama.

Beautiful and clean accommodation in a quiet location. Everything corresponds to the description and photos. The breakfast was tasty and rich. I definitely recommend it to everyone.

Nice and comfortable tents with private outdoor bathroom, providing a very special experience! The fans kept the tent cool at night. Lovely porch area to relax. Breakfast and dinner BBQ were excellent. The hosts were very kind and welcoming.

Everything ! The place is amazing. It is blended in the nature, the Savannah on one side and Indian Ocean on another. You can feel connected to the nature around you in a really respectful way. As everyone will tell you there : “animals were here first. we are the guests on their land”. Of course, the rooms are beautiful. You will enjoy spending time discovering every little detail of it. What we enjoyed the most was the food and the service The food was amazingly good and it was the best we had in our all trip in Sri Lanka. The Chef has much creativity and has nothing to envy to Michelin restaurants. Also every team member was very kind and thoughtful. The manager offered us a beach dinner on our first evening to celebrate our engagement and we had a surprise cake at the end to celebrate. But all the team members are very kind, efficient, flexible, and they genuinely caring about people. And at the end, that is the thing that matters. Finally but nonetheless, the safari experience was really amazing thanks to our ranger Darshana. It is a life changing experience to enter in this environment where you don’t belong. But what we will also remember is the passion of Darshana for the animals. He is so respectful of the nature around him and so knowledgeable. He is the one who made our experience unforgettable. Thank you to all the staff of Wild tented coast lodge. We hope to visit you again !

This has been my favourite hotel in Sri Lanka so far. The lodges are beautifully designed. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The bed was so comfortable. Praveen was extremely welcoming and helpful to us during the stay. We organised the Yala National Park Safari through the hotel in advance of our visit and it was 90USD per person (the hotel also arranged a naturist to join us on the safari and I really would recommend doing so as it gave great insight to the animals we encountered). The food was excellent. The staff were extremely accommodating to dietary requirements and were able to provide a vegan dinner. They prepared a vegetable kottu, coconut curry and dhal and it was soooo delicious. My partner also got grilled chicken and said it was the nicest meal of the trip! Could not recommend Koragaha Lodge more.
