What an incredible stay! One of our favourites in a 6 month trip and incredible value for money. The hosts are super friendly and welcoming and the home cooked meals by a lady from the village were delicious. The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated, with an incredible view. The location is outside Kandy but we found the city to be hectic so it was nice to be a bit removed and nearer to nature, and was cheap & easy by bus or tuk tuk into town. As a cherry on top they have the sweetest friendly dog. Can't recommend enough!

The owners are super friendly and will make it very comfortable. We had a nice room with big balkony with chairs. Lovely to sit there in the sun in the morning and drink coffee. Nice thing they have a common area where you can make tea or coffee and a fridge. Also with tables and chairs. The breakfast was lovely too!

Our family with 3kids had a lovely and unforgettable experience at Hanthana. We are very happy the way Mrs. Melanie, Mr.Nandana , chef George, Samantha, Mihiranga treated as with the best service. The overall ambience of the property is amazing that we could experience the best sunrise, green environment with lots of plants , the waterfall with a natural pool inside the property. Rooms were spacious to accommodate a big family like ours. ‘Scout’ safari to mountains were also a nice experience. All in total we will give 10/10 for this lovely property. This is the most beautiful homestay I’ve ever stayed at. The view, the room, the furniture – everything is absolutely stunning. But what truly made this place special was the warmth and kindness of the hosts. Punya takes care of everything with so much thoughtfulness, and Ravi is not only a great cook but also incredibly caring. I got quite sick during my stay, and they not only took me to the doctor but also cooked for me and looked after me with genuine care. I’m deeply grateful and can recommend this place to everyone. It truly felt like home.
