I had the pleasure of staying at this eco-lounge camp in Haputale, and though I wasn’t able to stay at the actual campsite, the host went above and beyond to ensure I had a fantastic experience. Right away, he proposed a cozy room alternative with the most breathtaking view – a truly beautiful spot to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings. The host’s kindness and attention to detail made my stay incredibly comfortable. He arranged all my tuk-tuk rides, making it easy to explore Haputale without any hassle. He also gave me fantastic recommendations for things to see and do in the area, helping me make the most of my time there. As a solo traveler, I especially appreciated how he checked in on me throughout the day, ensuring I felt safe and supported. His thoughtful care made me feel genuinely welcomed and valued, adding a personal touch to my stay that I’ll always remember. We had a truly wonderful stay at Nature Lodge Bandarawela! The place exceeded our expectations in every way. It’s a perfect home away from home with everything thoughtfully provided. The lodge comes with a fully equipped kitchen—complete with kitchenware, spices, and all the essentials, making it easy and convenient to prepare meals. There’s a cozy living area with a TV, fridge, and a comfortable sofa bed, ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. The bedroom is spacious, featuring a double bed and a bunk bed, perfect for couples, families or groups. The bathroom has hot water, and the entire property is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. A special thanks to Mr. Lal, who made our stay extra special. Every morning, he served a delicious breakfast right on time, and was always kind, helpful, and ready to assist with anything we needed. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and we truly appreciated the peace of mind provided by the CCTV cameras around the property—it's very secure, so there’s no need to worry. Overall, this place is absolutely worth the money. It’s a peaceful, clean, and welcoming environment. We highly recommend Nature Lodge to anyone visiting Bandarawela!

The location is amazing. Peaceful with great views, and close access to the railway line beneath. So it is a good starting point for climbing Mount Ella and seeing the waterfall. A nice walk along the tracks or the road into town, or a TukTuk is always ready to drop or pick you up. The breakfasts and dinners were delicious, they catered to my vegan preferences without hesitation. The room was new and clean and the view of the train track beneath is probably the best location in Ella. I loved relaxing on the balcony in the afternoons watching the train and walkers on the tracks.

The view from our room was beautiful! We could see Ella Rock, and Waterfalls right opposite. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The road to the cabin was an adventure by itself as we had our own tuktuk. The staff however offered us tuktuk rides to the main road and back. The breakfast was also very delicious and it was delivered to our room by our request. I highly recommend this accommodation!

Super nice place, a gem, surrounded by tea plantations. Staff going out of their way to spoil you, starting with delitious breakfast. And the view from the balkon just perfect! To be highly recommanded, no doubts about it.
