Writers Lodge was perfect in every way. It was well located , fully stocked and fitted with high quality towels and linen. The villa was the best of its kind in Galle. The staff are also polite and accommodating.

Best place we’ve stayed in all of our travels around Asia!! We were welcomed with open arms and felt like part of the family! TuTu and his mum were so kind and generous as well as giving us great recommendations for things to do while we visited Galle. Location was perfect, out of the busy town but close enough to bike ride or get a local tuk tuk into either Galle or Unawatuna! The room was huge and the bed was so comfy! We chose the Sri Lankan breakfast which was delicious and filling! We didn’t want to leave and would stay again in a heartbeat!

Everything! The food was absolutely delicious for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Make sure you ask for sri lanka breakfast. The pool is a lovely area to relax and is a lovely temperature and the staff are always on hand for anything you need. Even going as far as getting suncream from the village and bringing us to our next destination. The room was perfect for what we needed. Small but comfortable. Had a nice shower, too. I would 100% recommend this to anyone

Very nice an friendly host. Cabin directly with the ocean in front of you. Cabin ist really basic but very clean. Great breakfast. Perfect view for watching the sunset.

Had a wonderful stay at the Sky View Cabin Unawatuna! The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious and worth every penny—great value for the price. The overall experience was fantastic, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Galle. Looking forward to coming back!
