We had an excellent 3-day stay and everything was absolutely perfect. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and always willing to assist with anything we needed. They also arranged all of our transfers, which made our stay completely stress-free and very comfortable. The service exceeded our expectations, and we truly felt well taken care of from start to finish. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

We had the most wonderful stay at Tantra Ella Lodge! Angelo is a great host, always helpful, always ready to give some tips about nice restaurants and activities in and around Ella. The room was very nice and had everything we needed, and the view from the balcony was stunning – giant squirrels and hornbills came to see us in the morning amongst the beautiful trees. The hotel itself is very close to the city center, but at the same time the little street where it is located is very peaceful. We would have stayed longer if we could!

Maybe one of the loveliest rooms we booked in our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka. It had 2 beds, a porch and a view on the opposite hill with a Buddhist temple. It is not in downtown Ella but you get the view, so it's a question of taste. Breakfast was served on the porch and was delicious. The owner was great and helped us organize our pickup to and from the cottage as well as a driver to go to Yala.

Had the best time in Sri Lanka here! The host family are so friendly and kind, doing everything they can so that we are happy. Met the entire family, including the dog! Nice room with terrace, where we had great breakfast and perhaps the best dinner in Sri Lanka! The owner arranged scooter, tuktuk whenever we needed and gave great instructions and recommendations for hikes etc. Great memory in Sri Lanka!

An amazing place! Located up a hill, away from very busy Ella town. Cabins are specious, beautiful finished and very clean. We woke up every day to a sunrise which we could admire from our balcony of each cabin. The host is just exceptional! Delicious home cooked breakfast is delivered to your room every morning. We also took a cookery class at the property and were able to enjoy home cooked meal together! 10 out of 10!
