A small number of beautiful lodges in beautiful green surroundings. Everything fits together perfectly and is of good quality. Very friendly and helpful owner and staff. The food is more expensive than outside but it is simply fantastic. We had one of the best vegetarian curry selection cooked after our preferences. The breakfast is also really good.

Exceptional staff. Very communicative. Some of the best hoppers we've had during our stay in Sri Lanka for breakfast. The place is well kept. They gave us several great recommendations for what to do. Would be happy to stay again if back in the Dumbulla area.

I had an amazing stay! The place has such a peaceful vibe, surrounded by nature. The villa was clean and comfortable, and my favourite feature was the inner courtyard, which made me feel so connected to nature. The tree hut was the perfect nook for reading, and the staff even arranged one of our dinners there. We were also able to experience a well bath - such a one of a kind experience! The staff were incredibly attentive, always making sure everything went smoothly. The food was delicious and full of local flavours. Loved the soothing sound of birds in the morning. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Dambulla who’s looking for a relaxing and authentic Sri Lankan experience.

We stayed 2 nights at the Sigiri art home. It is a lovely place hidden in the jungle. From the comfortable furniture at the patio, you can enjoy the sights of the beautiful garden. When we arrived we were welcomed very kindly. The room and bathroom were clean and the bed was very comfortable. The AC functioned perfectly. In the morning we got a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast. The host and his wife are kindhearted and want to make sure your stay is up to your wishes. When we ran out of gas with our rented tuk tuk, the host even brought us to a gas station to get a bottle of fuel. He was truly a lifesaver.

Excellent hospitality provided by host and felt good and excellent staff and one of the best place to stay in Dambulla. Swimming pool was refreshing, and rooms were superb. Restaurants food was amazing, and breakfast was massive. I would definitely recommend this hotel for other travelers who are looking to stay in Dambulla.

Loved staying at machcha lodge! The host is so nice and makes lovely breakfast with eggs, fresh fruits, smoothies, coffee/tea and toast. It’s also a minute walk from Roys Villa where you can enjoy the pool, family diners and all activities. My pickup taxi was at 6:00, so the host made a lovely breakfast at 5:30 and the people from Roy’s gave me a snack for on the way. Such nice people and a great start of my holiday!!
