Since I did't know Sapporo, I wasn't aware of the location, I got surprised and very happy about it, the hotel is easy to reach, the check in and check out were very easy and the staff was very kind

I have stayed in 3* and 4* that didn't meet this standard. What a great place if you are OK using japanese type beds. Just amazing for me well done all.

Perfect for a few nights. Great location to visit the ice festival and explore the city. The showers were super powerful and it was great to use the baths too. Awesome we were able to store luggage after check out too so could go for lunch before leaving later in the afternoon.

Location is great, close to susukino and tanuki Koji. The bed was comfortable and spacious enough to fit the luggage. Staff is very nice and helpful. The bar downstairs has a really good vibe with tasty food and a great place to meet other travelers and locals.

Both breakfast and dinner were absolutely fantastic. The master chef, Mr, Ito was exceptional. I have traveled several countries with well-known gastronomy including France one month ago and Italy 2 weeks ago. Food at Chalet Ivy was by far the best. It should be on the Michelin star restaurant list.
