Comfortable property, large dry room and close to the ski shuttle bus. The staff are fantastic, willing to help with anything and incredibly welcoming. Was well looked after on the whole trip and feel a bit sad to be leaving! thanks to the whole team there!

Had such an amazing stay! Were right at the foot of the ski lift at Togari Onsen which was a treat. The Lodge manager made the stay exceptional. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The onsens downstairs were also amazing.

With mountain views, Japan Snowsports is set in Iiyama and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, bar, garden, sun terrace and barbecue.

Even so I stayed only one night, I felt felt really welcomed from the first step in the Hotel. The owner was very friendly and warm. They cooked a very good dinner for me. After a perfect and silent night in the very cozy bed. I enjoyed a great breakfast before I was driven by car to the bus station by the owner. I can absolutely recommend this place.

The host is amazingly helpful and the staff is super friendly, they have life music comfy evenings. The skin locker has all necessary tools even for repair. Kids were happy with PS5

We arrived not knowing what to expect really, but Nathan and Akiko were so welcoming and really good fun. As was Nick, their handyman. The dining room / living area was a place you wanted to be in, so we ended up spending more time there chatting with Nathan, Akiko and Nick (as well as the other guests) rather than heading out into the town. Akikos food was amazing and good value too, so there was no need to go anywhere else either. Nathan made extra effort to take us to the resorts, and also picking us up if he was able to. Nick and Akiko joined us on the slopes too on occasion. Also, being someone a little over 6ft, the beds were plenty bong enough and were really comfy. After travelling for 4 months, this was comfortably our favourite stay and wish we could have stayed longer.

Staying at White Tree Lodge felt like visiting family Hayden and Saki are great hosts who do everything to help and make your stay enjoyable, room and lodge facilities comfortable, great location close to ski lifts and other restaurants in the village, and the home cooked Japanese food in the white tree restaurant was delicious with a great variety on menu. I have been skiing in Japan for 15 years and white tree is a definite standout and would highly recommended

Our favourite thing about the property was the wonderful and welcoming host, Yuki. He was extremely helpful and it is thanks to him and his mother that Marushige is run so brilliantly. Our room was traditional Japanese style and extremely cosy - although we were sleeping on futons on the floor we were very warm. The shared bathroom was very clean and all of the other guests were very respectful. The location was perfect for both getting to the slopes on foot, visiting local onsens and getting dinner along the Main Street. One night we had dinner at Marushige and it was fantastic, we ate some very refined local cuisine - they even served us a local delicacy of horse meat sashimi (I have to admit that I could not eat it as I don’t really eat meat but my husband tried it).

Excellent accommodation. Very comfortable for our family of 5. Our kids had one room with 3 beds and another room for us. The kitchen was clean and modern with everything you could need, even a rice cooker. The location is very close to the ski lifts 5-8min walk and the town in 5 mins walk down the hill.
