This is a real gem--it is a family run lodge that makes you feel like family in a good way. The owner is gracious and runs a great operation. The rooms are great--mine faced the mountain over a field of snow. I had a great shower and deep bath tub and super comfortable beds and comforters. They were so kind--they took me to the resort to ski (about 5 min drive) and picked me up afterwards. They have a fun bar space and a decent restaurant in the evenings. It is well located for Niseko Village and is on the shuttle line (get off at Milk stop and walk 250M down the street). The people working there were super kind and polite and helpful. It really was the definition of hospitality without even trying--just nice people. They have a ski room s well to dry boots and keep skis. What more to say--price is right and you will have an authentic experience away from generic hotels in the area.

The owners were very kind and picked us up from the train station at late notice as we didn't have a car. They also dropped us off in town for some food and a trip to the local onsen, for which they gave us free tickets included with the stay. The cottage was very cosy and warm, we went in January and we're almost too hot! Perfect getaway.

Slowlife was awesome and offered all the facilities that you’ll need for a great ski trip. Breakfast was tasty with a good range of options, the perfect way to start a day on the slopes. Nice and cozy place to stay at Niseko. Bus stop for the ski bus and hirafu shuttle are nearby. You'll love the fireplace, it's the best for snowy evenings. Evebody was king and helpful. The villa is a separate building connected to the main one with inside corridor, so coming for the breakfast is easy and with no need to go outside. If you don't have a car, it's possible to get morning hotel shuttle to the gondola.

Nice place to stay couple of days in a « chalet type » house! Great to share good times in the common room! Comfortable and well located - despite a 15min uphill walk to the skiing area, there is a free shuttle service from the hosts in the morning and it’s perfect !

The front desk staff were incredibly responsive, regardless of my never ending questions. The shuttle drivers were warm and welcoming and eager to share their local knowledge. Having groceries delivered before we arrived was a life saver. All aspects of the facilities at the chalet were exceptional. The shuttle service was easy to request and responsive.
