The cabin was perfect for our stay in Iceland, we loved it! I chose this rental as we were going to do day trips and the location was perfect for that. Also the price, very attractive compared to many others i checked. I received the code for the key box and helpful information as to how to fin the cabin well in advance of our arrival. The cabin is not massive but the beds were comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. It is located off the main road so absolutely no noise or light pollution, when looking out over the fields from the terrace you feel almost lost in the landscape. However it's still close to Selfoss where you can find restaurants, shops and bakeries.

Beautiful & cosy little cabin with the cutest neigh-bours which made it even more magical. Exactly what we dreamed of coming to Iceland. Super welcoming with a note and treat on arrival. Loved being able to walk freely around the farm and explore. We didn’t have neighbours in the other cabin so it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves in the evening.

This is a really nice, well-equiped and spacious house in a beautiful area close to some main highlights in the Golden Circle. We particularly liked the three bedrooms and another 2-person bed in an open space on the upper floor - giving us (a group of 2 couples and 2 children) plenty of options for sleeping. The hostess (who managed our stay from a distance) was simply great and very helpful. She arranged a baby bed and baby chair for the smallest kid, always answered quickly to messages and phone calls, and spontaneously came up with suggestions for things to do with kids in the area. At our day of departure, she allowed us to stay longer in the cabin so that our baby could still take a nap before the long trip home. Definitely would return here in the future!

It's a type of a wooden chalet and was warm and nice inside on the contrast with cold and drenching rain outside at the time of the visit. Big bonus was the restaurant inside the hotel which was already mentioned by many here - it was a buffet and had delicious home made food I guess icelandic style (you had pay extra).
