Spacious and very comfortable. Warm and cozy. Terrific views. Rushing sound of hot stream very pleasant to listen to. Hot tub a delight especially on cold evenings. Large windows magnificent for watching northern lights. Owner very responsive to maintenance needs, which were minor. House provided nice privacy for two couples. Kitchen was well supplied with seasonings, spices. Nearby dining was excellent: Mika, Fridhaemar, Efstidalur. This house is a great central location for visiting Golden Circle highlights like Geysir, Gullfoss, Secret Lagoon, Thingvellir.

So easy to find and the perfect size and layout for a small family like ours. The heating was excellent, we almost never got out of the hot tub and we cooked several meals with ease. One morning we even woke up to a surprise snow fall!! It felt magical and we would highly recommend to families and stay again ourselves.

It had adequate kitchen utensils to make your own food, good wifi connection and the hot tub was filled and ready for us when we arrived! It was so nice to sit in the hot tub surrounded by the cold winter air. It even snowed the morning of our check-out which made it kind of magical.
