The cottage is an absolute gem nestled in stunning natural surroundings. It's a perfect retreat for those seeking tranquility and solitude. We absolutely loved our stay. The hot tub was a delightful touch, and the cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Its location is particularly special, as most of the major Golden Circle attractions are within an hour's drive.

Cabin was compact, but the use of space was very efficient with lots of storage and all kitchen utensils. We were a family of 3 (including my 15 year old) and we were comfortable. The third bed is an adjustment, but we were all fine. On arrival, there was a special homemade Icelandic cake. The cake was excellent. Location, comfort, and value for money, I will rate the cabin high for each of these.

Beautiful, comfortable house with plenty of space for our group. The beds were very comfortable, the house was warm and bright. The view from the big picture windows was excellent. We also enjoyed seeing the horses across the road and the tractors trundling around. The hot tub was also excellent, the instructions were very clear and it was easy to use. The only thing extra that would help is an estimate of how long the tub takes to fill, the first night we didn't start it filling until after dinner and it took too long to fill so we couldn't use it that night.
