The quiet and cosy cabin, sitting in the warm cabin in the serene forests was just magical. As it was snowing heavily at Akureyri in the middle of March, we decided to spend most of our day here. Enjoyed the hot tub in the forest.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The breakfast buffet was incredibly extensive and delicious. The staff greeted us with warmth and friendliness from the moment we arrived. Our room was quiet and spacious, providing all the comfort we needed. What's more, they had a crib ready for our baby upon our arrival, which was a thoughtful touch. We were so pleased with our experience that we decided to extend our stay for an extra night. Overall, our time at this hotel exceeded our expectations, and we can't wait to return in the future. The combination of excellent service, a peaceful room, and that delicious breakfast made our stay truly memorable. Thank you to the wonderful staff for making our trip so enjoyable!

Ours was a self catering studio with private bathroom and shared kitchen and lounge area. The set up is great and a really good idea. It was nice to speak with other people staying there whilst we were preparing food & drinks etc and also to have our own private area. Beds were very comfy. Bathroom was luxurious with a great shower. Good location with lovely views of the sea and a nice terrace to sit out on.

It was truly one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed. The golden grass, surrounding mountains, and horses created such a picturesque and peaceful atmosphere — it felt like paradise. The house itself is small but very cozy and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
