We had an amazing stay at Mathis. The team went above and beyond to make our time as hassle free as possible from providing us with a 4am shuttle, well out of their shuttle times, for our sunrise fishing trip to organising all of our transport to Gili Meno as well as storage so that we did not have to take all of our luggage with for that leg of our holiday. The lodge itself is beyond amazing from the bungalows to the restaurant no detail is too small for this team. Thank you for making our stay so amazing.

Great place close to the center of Amed. It’s easy and cheap to rent motors at the accommodation. The room was large, the view was great and the pool area very pretty. But the real reason I’m writing this review is to thank the staff again for being so kind and helpful. Thank you so much, it’s appreciated.

We came for two nights and stayed for 2 weeks. The Amed Lodge is an authentic, boutique Balinese hotel with some beautiful Japanese design touches. The rooms are all designed individually and have a lot of character and style. The lodge is situated right on a quiet stretch of beach where you can swim and do some nice snorkeling. We felt very welcome and enjoyed talking to Pina, Ayu and the team. Terima kasih. kami ingin kembali lagi.

The room we were in was steps from the beach (all the rooms are very close). Loved how sheltered and peaceful Jemeluk bay is, with plenty of food options. The snorkelling spot is right there in front of bluestar.

The private swimming pool and the wonderful mountain views. The beach was only a 10 minute walk away. Some lovely restaurants. Aldi Resto and Amed beach hotel were great. There is a cleaner (Kadec) who is very nice who comes around in the morning. Apart from that you are on your own So you need to go into the village to enquire about snorkeling, etc. There is a well enough stocked small supermarket near the beach 10 min walk. Wi-Fi was very good. I managed to conduct a webinar.

I love the context, there are 3 bungalows on the top of a hill witch mean if you are looking for the best spot te reconnect with yourself and the Balinese culture, the view from the restaurant offers the beautiful sunset, in the other hand from your balcony you have the opposite view with show some stunning sunrises! The staff if you wish to know them are the friendliest and kind peoples they made my stay incredible, The room is big, the aircon if functioning well and there is drinking water in room with fridge

The accommodation was excellent. Beautiful wooden bungalows surrounded by nature, right on the riverbank. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection on the menu. The staff was extremely kind! Highly recommended!
