What a find, right in the center of Amed! We've been traveling for a while now and this room was one of our favorites, super clean, comfortable and the shower had hot water and good pressure which isn't the standard here.

This is heaven on earth. This place is a hidden gem. It’s secluded from the main road (yet it’s 5 minutes away). It is so quiet and peaceful we had the best time ever. Ayu is an incredible host. Very welcoming and thoughtful. The room is spacious and impeccably clean and the pool is so nice to hang out.

We really had an amazing stay in Amed Mathis Lodge. The hotel, decoration and the room are awesome. All the staff is absolutely lovely we had a really nice experience. Thank you to Mohammad, resort manager, who was fully available for us when we needed. We will come back for sure.

Above all, we were most impressed with the beautiful staff at Damar Sanjaya Uttama! Such kind and warm people, nothing was too much trouble!! The room was spacious, clean and definitely value for money!! R.E location, it’s in the quieter part of Amed, which we actually really loved. Surrounded by corn fields, banana tree’s and palms; with a short 1 minute walk to the volcanic black sand beach- we couldn’t recommend more highly !!

Location. location, location! Right on the beach. Affordable. Lovely friendly staff and family where nothing was too much trouble. Large water container and flask of hot water in the morning - greatly appreciated.

The private swimming pool and the wonderful mountain views. The beach was only a 10 minute walk away. Some lovely restaurants. Aldi Resto and Amed beach hotel were great. There is a cleaner (Kadec) who is very nice who comes around in the morning. Apart from that you are on your own So you need to go into the village to enquire about snorkeling, etc. There is a well enough stocked small supermarket near the beach 10 min walk. Wi-Fi was very good. I managed to conduct a webinar.

This place has one of the best views of Amed. It has it's own restaurant with very good food and also a dive center downstairs. Each room is one separate wooden cabin with en suite bathroom. The cabin comes with a large comfortable bed. The bathroom is partially without roof, so you can shower under the stars. Breakfast is outstanding, wide variety of food and drinks, good portions. The staff provided us free of charge transportation in the city and to the beach.
