Lovely, comfortable room with great bed, a mini fridge and big bathroom. We stayed here, like most, to visit nearby Plitvice National Park and this location is walking distance to Entrance 3. They will even book your tickets for you (but we booked ours on line) and they gave us directions for touring the park. The lodge offers delicious drinks, dinner and breakfast for very reasonable prices.

Beautiful place, very peaceful and relaxing. The owner is very kind and helpful, and it's nice to converse with him. We slept in a cabin in the woods, with a fully equipped kitchen that allowed us to cook almost anything. Value for money is incredible honestly. By car, the cabin is 5 minutes away from Slunj, 30 minutes away from Plitvice Lakes. We found this very comfortable. The cabin also has a fire place you can utilize, and AC if you prefer that.

This accommodation is absolutely perfect! The house, the location, the facilities, and the host are all fantastic. We enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to extend it. There is a river nearby where we had the opportunity to swim and use a canoe. Additionally, there are hammocks, bikes, a trampoline, and a BBQ. The natural surroundings are beautiful and very peaceful.

We stayed at Father’s Land while visiting Plitvice Lakes, and it was the perfect choice. The chalet is set in a peaceful, green area about 7 km from Entrance 1, far from the crowds but close enough for quick trips to the park. The surroundings are beautiful, with open views of the hills and a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. The chalet itself is charming, spacious, and spotless. Inside, there’s a cozy living room with a fully equipped kitchen (fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, cookware), a comfortable bedroom, and a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower. The wooden interiors give it a warm, rustic feel. Outside, there’s a terrace with mountain views, a barbecue, and a small playground – perfect for mornings with coffee or evenings under the stars. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful, offering local tips and making sure we had everything we needed. Wi-Fi is available, though sometimes unstable, but for us that added to the “disconnect and relax” experience. Overall, Father’s Land is an ideal place for couples or families wanting comfort, nature, and tranquility near Plitvice. We would happily return and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
