Lovely and clean, all home comforts ,such a warm welcoming leaving cookies tea coffee and milk for us we felt at home can't wait to go back We walked 62 miles jumped on and off the trains so easy to get from place to place The boat house pub is the best for home cooked food beautiful walks

Helga and Deneyes were brilliant hosts with an eye for detail in every area of the hotel. From the moment you walked in their welcome was like meeting old friends, the entrance hall was a delight showing their South African heritage. Having been shown to our room we knew immediately we were going to enjoy our 5 day stay, the room was great far exceeding our expectations and would put many a 5 star hotel to shame. The bed was so comfortable we had fabulous nights sleep. Breakfast each morning was a time to chat to Helga and Deneyes about our plans for the day, the food was excellent and we were able to select from a varied menu. We would have no hesitation booking our stay here again and another couple we meet at the hotel shared our sentiments, our stay was first class, thank you for looking after us.

The room is new, modern, clean, and equipped with everything you need. It has a small front garden and, being set back from the road, it’s quiet and private. Street parking is easy, though paid (free at night). Definitely the best option for visiting Exeter.

My stay at Bentley Lodge was really good & upon arrival I was met by the host Debbie. She is a very warm & very welcoming person. The room was very tastefully decorated & extremely clean throughout. The bed was very comfortable & the bathroom was spotless throughout. Fresh milk, filtered water, a selection of teas & coffee & some rather tasty treats were provided in the room. I requested an early breakfast & it was no trouble at all for Rich & Debbie. My breakfast was tasty & met my expectations. "Good quality produce". Lovely morning hosting by Rich & Debbie. Lovely down to earth people whom enjoy & know how to host. "Professional but also Very Sincere". Thank You!
