Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

Nice location. Wasn’t the cleanest. Marks on the glasses/mugs. Disturbed throughout the night as every time doors shut the whole room would shake.

That the bar was open it seemed until people stopped drinking. I went to bed before it shut.

Nothing! I booked the hotel because it had a pool. When I arrived with my teenage son the pool was shut. Other guests had been provided with a phone call to tell them about this before travelling. My room was near the Function room and there was noise from this area on a Sunday evening until the early hours of the morning. Then I was kept awake for a number of hours due to the noise on my floor. I went for a relaxing break and I didn’t have this.

Exceptional staff made me welcome (and made me a sandwich after the kitchen had shut). This is a great hotel that I try and stay at every time I'm in Cardiff.

The comfy bed we had in our room. The closeness to the local shopping area and food places. We needed them, due to little options on the room service menu and the restaurant being shut.

Breakfast was average with flustered staff. Table was reserved at 9.45 but not sat down for 10 mins. I paid for executive room with use of executive room for breakfast but it was shut for some reason
