If you want to get away from it all with fantastic views fresh air and peace this is the place for you, when you get to the gate its nearly a mile up a track up the mountain to the farm house and cottage, the views just driving up are lovely. At the property there is a dedicated parking space for guests. The cottage is very cosy and comfortable and warm (we visited in November) with all you need inside, when we arrived there was a loaf of bread and milk waiting for us. Carys and Kerry are such lovely people and hosts if you need anything or information they will assist, but also leave you to enjoy your stay, they will introduce you to their pygmy goats and a few other animals they are all very friendly. The cottage is well situated for travel, within a short while you are in the Brecon Beacons, or in the other direction the M4 and also the town of Bridgend for shopping only a few minuets away.

A recently renovated holiday home located in Porthcawl, Surfers Lodge - Rest Bay, Porthcawl features a garden. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the holiday home free of charge.

It was so easy to access the room, and I enjoy the autonomy of being able to arrive and get into the room without needing to meet anyone. The room had a fridge, tea/coffee, a kettle, and an iron. Ample storage space for clothes and luggage items, efficient heating, including a heated towel rack, and nice ambient lighting via a dimmer switch, lamps, and soft, mirror lighting in the bathroom. It's so easy to walk into the town from the cabins. Don't listen to Google maps which wants you to walk the road way. You can get to the closest bus stop in 5 mins, and the centre of town in 10 via the footpath directly Infront of the cabins.

The Larch is such a tranquil peaceful weekend get away with your loved one. We had such a wonderful time shutting away from the outside world & be just the 2 of us, time together, it was lovely to be in a private space surrounded by greenery & sheep in the field. The Larch had all the amenities needed for a weekend break (there is a retail park 5mins away) & was clean & tidy, with nice touches like chocolate in the fridge & the tuck shop box. We are already looking at coming back it’s definitely recommended.

Modern, clean, spacious, private, home from home and in a good location. Laura was very friendly and helpful. The cottage is a hidden gem, absolutly FANTASTIC!!!. Fully fitted with all the mod cons you could ask for. We had everything we needed and the view was lush! The beds were so comfortable and warm. We can't wait to come back soon. The Lodge was stunning, modern and spacious. Comfortable, home from home. We didn't take much for our short stay and needed nothing extra. Everything we needed was available. A relaxing, quiet, private space. We took our dog and he equally loved the freedom of the grounds. We were made to feel welcome as a family by the host. We felt safe. The location was perfect for us.
