Marjo and Jukka's place is outstanding. The wooden cottage is warm, cozy, and located in a wonderfully peaceful area. The kitchen is very well-equipped with all the utensils and tools you might need, making it easy to prepare meals without bringing anything extra. The cottage also features a relaxing sauna and a cozy fireplace, with firewood generously provided by the hosts. When we arrived, the house was super clean and everything was working. Additionally, there is an extensive set of cleaning supplies available to maintain the same level of cleanliness when leaving. While the house doesn’t have Wi-Fi, we found this to be a positive aspect, as it encouraged us to set our phones aside and enjoy quality time together. However, if you heavily depend on Wi-Fi, it’s something to keep in mind. The cottage also includes a drying rack, which is particularly useful for drying clothes after a full day of skiing. Speaking of skiing, this location is perfect for ski trips—it’s less than a 40-minute drive to Levi and only about 10 minutes to Ylläs. There’s convenient parking right in front of the house, and with the hosts' permission, it’s possible to charge electric or hybrid cars. Overall, our stay was fantastic, and we highly recommend this place. Marjo and Jukka are polite and very responsive hosts, always quick to answer any questions.

The cabin is beautiful and really cozy, and is surrounded by nature, so it's perfect for a relaxing getaway. The host was incredibly nice and helpful, which made us feel so welcome. Plus, we were given great tips of places to visit and activities to do in the area.

Cozy small cabin in the middle of the forest. Near Äkäslompolo and Ylläs. Visited to see and hike during "ruska", and we couldn't ask for more. Toilet in the living area, shower in the sauna. Sauna can easily fit 4 people at once. The double bed was comfortable and the sofa can be extended for two people to sleep. The fireplace worked fine, making the evening super cozy. Clean and quiet (evening even eerie).

Everything was so easy form booking to staying, the location was perfect, surroundings amazing, everything within walking distance or local bus or ski bus. We had all amenities onsite, there was nothing we wanted to change. Rooms were nice, space was ample, sauna amazing. Tv and play station was great for our son for when we wanted to relax. Coking ect had everything and more on site. Even a heated airier for washed clothing/ cold cloths form being out in the cold.
