Me and my mum stayed here for one night and it was a perfect stay. All of the staff were so lovely, the views were breathtaking & the food was incredible (although the prices are slightly higher than we’ve found elsewhere in Ecuador it was so worth it for the quality & taste & big portions). Such an amazing night in the countryside with lots of things to do, thank you!

We liked everything about Chilcabamba, from the initial communication to check-out. Jessica got in touch right away to facilitate the activities / transportation we needed. After transportation from Quito, we were greeted with a complimentary traditional hot drink. The rooms were spotless. There was only one other family when we stayed, and our kids loved playing together in the main lounge area. The food was excellent. The grounds include a 20 minute path through the beautiful grasslands to a trout pond. It was peaceful and beautiful.

Tambopaxi is an truly exceptional place inside the National Parc. Through our window, we had a magnificent view on Cotapaxi Vulcano. Sleeping inside the National Parc has the great advantage that you can start a walk or a ride with horses at your door step. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant is good and the daily menu really fills up after a day of walking. A small but extremely lovely element was the fact that they light up the fireplace in your room at 17h00. Finally the place is "mountain" style so do not except a 5 star resort. But it fits perfectly in the environment and has a high standard. If you need transport, Guido with it's yellow school bus is a great person. You can ask his support through Tambopaxi Reception.
