The breakfast buffet with a big variety of food, size of our room and the view, super friendly and accommodating staff, overall cleanliness of the hotel, location just beside the park and Schlüchtsee (100% recommended for families with kids -- it was covered in fresh snow and looked so magical, the staff lent us some sleds for free and our kids had the best time of their lives). There was a common area where guests can warm their food (there is no in-house restaurant) and get unlimited coffee and tea. It was nice because it gave guests the opportunity to also get acquainted with each other if they wanted to. On the 2nd floor was a small playroom for children in case of bad weather. At the end of our corridor was a nice seating area where one could enjoy the view from outside (and even exercise while enjoying the view). We loved everything! Thank you to the very kind staff who made our stay unforgettable.

Nice well renovated second floor independent apartment. In the info of the property it says no wifi, but it actually has a wi-fi connection and we were provided with the password. Also it says one bedroom apartment while it has two bedrooms each furnished with a double bed also a living room, kitchen and bathroom. I'm not sure if the price was the best one but was good enough for us. Very kind owner, washing machine didn't work and we couldn't find the other one existing in the first floor, so the owner offered washing the clothes for us. She was kind and caring. Contact her if you need anything or you have any questions. The property is located in a beautiful green area with peaceful neighbours and fantastic views. close to swiss borders. We visited south of Germany and north of Switzerland in a 7 night visit from Australia🤞🏼 Close to Luzerne (Pilatus lake and mountain) and also rhine falls. And beautiful old castles.
