We had a wonderful stay at Cabins Miss Miriam 2 for three nights. The staff is delightful and the room had everything we needed including air-conditioning.

Casa Marbella was the perfect place to stay for our trip to Tortuguero. The boat dropped us straight to the hotel dock, check in was super easy, and we were able to organise great tours with the hotel at a good price. The rooms were clean and comfortable with good AC and WiFi. Our room had a view of the river and some rocking chairs outside. The sunrises and sunsets were beautiful! Breakfast was included, with a choice of pancakes or eggs (if I remember correctly), and water, coffee, and tea all available. The location was good, very central, although Tortuguero is very small so everything is quite close by 😅 We really enjoyed our sunrise boat guided tour which we booked through the hotel, our guide was excellent and spotted so many amazing animals. We also did a turtle nesting tour which was incredible.

Fantastic location, right on the Caribbean beach, walking distance to the town. Kayak tour was great, informative guide. Room was lovely, breakfast an added bonus.

This lodge is in a very nice location in the small town of San Francisco. The restaurant is next to the water. A nice place to hang around. They serve a nice breakfast in the morning. The owner and his wife are very nice and helpful. You have to get a boat back to the main town. It's part of its charm. We really enjoyed our stay.
