The host was absolutely outstanding! I booked this hostel 15 minutes before we turned up as the place we arrived at beforehand was covered in bedbugs. Jose was able to accommodate 14 people at the drop of a hat as he has just refurbished and renovated the hostel. The showers were brilliant, the guest space was huge. Coffee and tea facilities available all day. Several fans in the room. Washing service available. Jose couldn’t do enough for us!

The owner was very friendly, helpful and had a great sense of humor. Beautiful garden, swimming pool, Lodge close to the beach, calm and cozy evenings at the river bank in hammock.

Excellent service, all personnal very nice and helpfull. Great location, very quiet. Room very confortable. Monkey just on the roof of the hotel. Nice swimming pool. Free boat 4 times per day.

Clean place, central location, good AC. If you are expecting a hotel, this is not it. It is just a room, but a good one though. We just saw the host on checkin and we’re by ourselves thereafter. But we liked the place very much.

The owner is exceptionally kind and patient :). She supported us to get our ride back to the mainland and organised a good guided trip. But where she went above and beyond was preparing a special thing for a special event and also helping me find my phone which I had lost somewhere in the village. It’s definitely somewhere I would consider going back to. It is clearly not high end accommodation but it is extremely clean and the rooms have great air conditioning. For the price it is unbeatable. We also saw a humming bird while there and a few frogs. It is a lovely place to just be and relax.
