Great and super welcoming owners!! They are very helpful with all the local recommendations and are always there for the guests:) Simple, clean, cosy, great location and wonderful food!! It gets loud in the evenings, but earplugs are provided for those who want an early night - and they work so well! We enjoyed our stay very much!! Thanks to Augustin and all the stuff!!!

This place as absolutely amazing if you like comfort and peace We were 4 kilometers from tamiando and had a beautiful room with outside hammocks and an infinity pool Breakfast was great homemade crepes and yogurt with fresh fruit coffee and juice Amazing host and great place definitely 125 percent recommend staying here

I loved my stay at Tama Lodge, we stayed in several hotels during our visit to Costa Rica, but this hotel took all our love, the attention was great, plus the price is very low for being in Tamarindo. The room was very comfortable and nice, if we return to Costa Rica, we will definitely return to Tama Lodge.

We had such a lovely stay at Baliyana lodge. This place is a gem and Nathalie and Yannick are wonderful and helpful hosts. The accommodations are serene and beautiful, nestled in a quiet location surrounded by the jungle and the sounds of playful monkeys. At night, you can see all the stars in the galaxy from the stunning infinity pool and the garden grounds. The drive to get there can be a bit off-putting at first but you will quickly get used to it (maybe don't plan your first arrival for night and reserve an SUV). The WI-FI is weak and there are no TVs in sight, so plan to sign off completely and be intentionally and mindfully in the moment. You won't regret it. This is honestly the best place to do that, with a lovely and delicious curated breakfast in the morning. The lodge may seem remote but there are beautiful beaches and a few delicious restaurants a short drive away - Playa Avellanas and Il Rustico were our favourite. Tamarindo is a very doable 20 minute drive away. Do not hesitate to book this as your Costa Rican Pacific beach accommodations.

Amazing place, quiet, private outdoor shower, little patio in front of every bungalow overlooking the pool, outdoor kitchen has everything you need to make coffee and breakfast, the hosts recommended and helped us book a catamaran tour for us for the next day that turned out to be the highlight of our stay in Tamarindo! Highly recommend!!

We loved our stay at Mikado Lodge! It is an incredible property in the middle of the jungle. The room and deck were lovely as you feel like you are in the tree canopy with the sounds of howler monkeys, cicadas, and views of deer and so many species of birds. Bring your binoculars! We enjoyed the pool time, the little trail on site, and the troup of monkeys that came swinging through the trees through in the morning. Aside from the beauty of the nature, everything is just so polished and well-taken care of. It is clear that a lot of thought and time has gone into the design and care of this boutique hotel. The owner, Lolo, was a gracious and accommodating host. She whipped up some delicious meals and was so sweet with our one year old. Playa Avellana is close by so you can go from jungle to beach in about 15 minutes! We would definitely stay there again.

Cabinas just few meters from playa Avellanas. You can reach the playa trough a bridge over the mangroves; so amazing view ! The Avellanas beach is a special one: you can see wonderful sunsets and surf all day long! They rent surf board. The breakfast is fine and the restaurant quite good. The guy at the reception is friendly and supportive. Well done cabinas la a olas staff!!
