This is a true Costa Rica rainforest, jungle experience. All staff from kitchen to the guides are superb. The isolation is exciting. Great opportunity to understand the jungle a bit better and see wildlife.

Gorgeous property right in the jungle - absolutely amazing setting. Very welcoming hosts. The Cabin was really clean and the outdoor kitchen was pretty cool. The beds were very comfortable. There was an information booklet in the cabin which had an amazing range of activities, which you can book with the hosts.

A recently renovated villa set in Sarapiquí, Río Sarapiquí Lodge features a garden. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi.

It was perfect till every last detail. I loved the porch and the hammock and rocking chair. I sat outside every moment of the day for hours watching the nature. The softness of the douvet, the fully equipt kitchen even with food containers.

This was easily the best place we stayed on our 3 week trip is Costa Rica. The staff were very friendly and the facilities were amazing, they have a brand new pool to cool down in. The breakfast was very incredible, and the lunch and dinner were the best tasting food we had on our trip (the Spanish omelette is a must). By far the most special thing was the wildlife, within the hotel trails we saw monkeys, sloths, toucans, Macaws, lots of hummingbirds and butterflies to name a few. You can see all of this whilst having a beer or walking the 3km of trails within the hotel. At night time the trails come alive with frogs. It deserves more than a 10 rating, only regret was we only stayed for 2 nights.

This lodge is set in the Tirimbina Nature Reserve and 2 km from De la Virgen Park. It features free Wi-Fi, an extensive garden and a furnished terrace.

The food was uniformly delicious. The owners and staff couldn’t have been more helpful organizing tours. The cabins were rustic but charming and the landscape was breathtaking.
