Beautiful little oasis tucked away from the main area of town but an easy walk to the beach, shops and restaurants.JP is such a nice man and a fabulous host. Clean, beautifully done rooms and a lovely common area around the pool. We saw a family of monkeys beside us in the trees on our last afternoon.

Samara Chillout Lodge is a boutique hotel located 10 minutes' walk from Samara Beach in a quiet area. It features an outdoor pool surrounded by a tropical garden.

Loved staying here- a quiet little oasis close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Really safe and run by a lovely couple who make you feel very welcome and at home. Fab for solo travellers, and very clean and comfortable! One of my favourite spots on my trip.

From arrival to departure, everything to perfection. The owners are very nice and make sure you have everything you need. The food in the evening and the breakfast were both very good. The lodges themselves are stunning and very clean with an amazing view. I would recommend this place to everyone, its amazing. Wish I stayed longer. Note: if you go by car, don’t trust google maps, it will guide you offroad. Its nice but you need both an adventurous mindset and an 4x4, don’t try it without both of them or you might run into trouble (e.g. get stuck). There is a proper road towards the lodges which is fine, look at the instructions the owners send you or ask them.

The best room we have stayed in Costa Rica! Really new and clean, also very well furnished and integrated into the surrounding nature. The forest facing balcony with jacuzzi is a great plus.
