The lodge was incredible, beautiful and quiet. The host was very friendly and accommodating - there were lots of great little extras (coffee, board games, snuggly blankets, great toiletries). The garden was amazing and we saw lots of lovely birds (hummingbirds and macaws). The host recommended a lovely local restaurant with authentic Costa Rica food. The location is perfect. We wish we could have stayed longer but we're only in the area for one night!

Birds, butterflies and monkeys- just wonderful! Restaurant deck overlooking pool and jungle/forest - amazing! Pool - gorgeous! Cabin - comfortable and homey! Open garden (but still private) bathroom - super amazing! Staff - friendly! Ellen and her partner from Holland - super friendly and helpful. The rooms are actually small cabins scattered around the property which is very lush and teeming with birds and butterflies. We LOVED the cabin with the open bathroom. Nothing like watching a hummingbird sip from a tropical flower while brushing your teeth!
