The beautiful room, the view on the Pacifc ocean, the great food, the kindness and professionnalism of the staff, all the animals you can spot so close to you (monkeys, macau, toucans, frogs, etc.). The park of the hotel is a good before-taste of the almost nearby Corcovado national park not to be missed, with great guides

The location is pretty good. You can go everywhere by foot. The Room is very clean and the kitchen has a lot of features like smoothiemaker, Ricecooker etc. Also the Family who runs this place is very frendly and helpful. They offer daily cleaning services, pick you up at the busstation and let you borrow their bikes. I can only recommend to stay here in Pavones!

We had a wonderful time at Maze Lodge in the middle of the jungle! Sure the road is a little bumpy but nothing a 4x4 car (we had a Suzuki Jimny) can't handle...a little adventure ride for free :) We want to thank our hosts Frida and Alexander so much for hospitality and their support! The location was quiet and private. The layout was open. I thought that since it isn't enclosed there would be more bugs but there was a normal amount around. The canopy around the bed helps with the bugs at night. The design was interesting and different. There is a parking space for the apartment. The owner is next door and friendly. The market is nearby and the fridge had enough space for our food.

This place is right in front of Pavones surf break. The room was lovely and had a nice balcony. There is cafe downstairs, serving delicious food. The hosts were kind and helpful.
