It is indeed one of our best stay during a 3 weeks travel in Costa Rica. It has all - beautiful, very comfortably equiped houses, perfect restaurant, amazing cacao field surroundings, wonderful nature and birds, great people, very interesting tours and a relaxing little spa. On top of all this - it has a perfect location, close to Rio Celeste (Parque Nacional Volcán Tenorio). Our huge thanks to all great team, who makes it happen!

We stayed here for 1 night but wished we could have stayed longer. Johnny (I think he is the owner or manager), could not have been more hospitable. He welcomed us with a coffee and snacks after a long journey from Nicaragua. He arranged a room with 2 single beds into a double room with air conditioning even though the hotel was busy. He also helped us with transport and recommendations for activities, as well as showing and telling us about all the wildlife that surrounds the hotel. He is so kind. The hotel is very cute and comfortable. The breakfast was filling and delicious, and you eat it whilst sat outside listening to the birds and nature. Would absolutely stay here again!

Rincon Verde has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Bijagua, 49 km from Venado Caves. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries.

everything. It starts with the awesome hospitality of Cecile and Eric. Everyone is so nice and kind. Then there is the rich, very special and always fresh breakfast each morning which gets you started for a fun packed day. You have so many opportunities to do in the area, like Tenorio with Rio Celeste or a night jungle tour and many more. But you can also just stay on the finca grounds and explore. There we have seen tons of different birds (including 3 types of toucans) as well as white faced monkeys. The cabins have a really high standard and nothing was missing. Cecile provided us with the best tips were we could have a great dinner. Our whole family never wanted to leave - It was our last stop on our trip but we couldn’t have chosen a better place.

Christine managed to create a peaceful, natural place for guests and (!) the animals that live in the area. She planted special trees for sloths, monkeys and birds. And they all came. We even saw a tapier mum with her baby coming to the restaurant area at night. We were able watch them quietly from the terrace. It was such an amzing moment. Thank you for everything, Christine!!!

The lodge was perfectly built : it's beautiful, decoration and accessories are modern and of good quality. With no doubt the most comfortable place we've been to : it's like a studio with all the equipment needed, matress is of good quality with extra blankets, bathroom is spacious, extra clean and everything seems brand new. The whole place is very quiet and we could observe the most amazing birds just in front of our terrace. The home made breakfast were delicious and generous. Thanks again for welcoming us. Hope we could have stayed more !

Wonderful place for decent price. Nice spacious clean room with private balcony. Very nice vew and surrounded by beautiful forest full of wildlife. The perfect place for nature lovers

This lodge is surrounded by a natural trail that leads to Miravalles Volcano and Bijagua River. It arranges horse-riding, fishing and bird-wathing activities, as well as shuttle services.

Nice cabin in the middle of nature with great balcony. We walked the nice jungle trail to the waterfall. Breakfast was nice as well. We forgot a bag in the room and they kept it for us.
