The location of Claro de Luna is great - a beautiful garden just by the river, frequently visited by colibras and other birds. Perfect to relax after a long day of trekking. The cabin is simple but clean and comfortable. Water in the shower was hot enough, Wi-Fi was ok. And the lady who owns the place is so kind and helpful! She was quick to answer every question and checked on us frequently.

A special mention goes to Mary, who went above and beyond to assist with any request I had. Whether it was providing local recommendations or helping with special arrangements, her warm and personalized service made me feel incredibly welcomed and valued. The hotel itself offers a peaceful and relaxing environment, making it the perfect place to unwind. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and thoughtfully designed to create a calm, tranquil atmosphere. It’s easy to see that the hotel takes great care in maintaining a serene ambiance for all guests. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. It was a delicious spread, offering a variety of fresh, high-quality options. From fresh fruit and pastries to hot dishes, it was a perfect way to start the day. Overall, I would highly recommend Selva Verde, to anyone seeking a relaxing retreat with outstanding customer service. Mary’s incredible assistance, along with the peaceful setting and fantastic breakfast, made this stay unforgettable. I look forward to returning!

Amazing experience in the mountains of Salento, surrounded by trees and above the clouds. The cabin was cute, the outdoor jacuzzi bath was bliss and we loved chilling on the net hammock too. We were very pleasantly surprised by how good the food in the restaurant was - the chef was brilliant! The member of staff at reception was also very helpful and attentive so I can’t recommend this stay enough!
