Rafael was an excellent host. The cabana on his property is entirely built from recycled materials and has a lot of character. He was extremely attentive, responsive, and friendly, and we joined his family for some Christmas celebrations down the hill. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed watching birds while eating breakfast on the balcony each morning (Andean Motmots, Tropical Screech Owls, and countless species of tanagers). Easy access to Otun Quimbaya. Others have noted that there was no hot water, but the shower works fine, it just requires a little finesse.
