To be honest, our stay was absolutely amazing. Not only for the island being so incredible but also to our apartment and Paulina was the absolute best host you could wish for. She helped us with organizing the whole stay and even picked us up from the airport. 10/10 would recommend!!!

The cabañas maria hau are very recommendable! Everything was very clean, just as it appeared in the pictures. The 4 cottages come with a well equipped kitchen and are hidden in a beautiful garden full of flowers and with a lot of shade and privacy for each terrace. I was very glad that the windows are protected with moskito protection screens, so that we had no problems with flys or moskitos! Maria was so helpful with all questions we had at any time of the day. Additionally they picked us up and brought us to the airport. They even organised a guided tour for us from one day to the other, calling all guides they knew. We just felt like part of their family! I would defenitely come back to this beautiful gem on the isla de pascua!!!! Thank you so much Maria and Laura!

The room itself was a highlight. Spacious and immaculately clean, it offered a tranquil retreat after days spent exploring the island. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep, and the overall quietness of the location meant that every morning we woke up refreshed and ready to tackle the day's adventures. The lodge’s amenities and its serene setting contributed to a feeling of exclusive privacy and comfort. For anyone visiting Rapa Nui, I cannot recommend Kona Koa Lodge enough. I loved the experience. Maria and Alvaro are very kind and openminded, loving people. Maria cooked a few times for me and the food was delicious. I took tours with Alvaro and enjoyed every minute of it. He is very knowledgeable and patient and thus makes sure you will get the most of your stay in Rapa Nui. The view from my room was great! It's literally like being at home but on a very far away island. I can definitely recommend 100%.

The Cabanas Te Maori is ideally located just a short walk from the stores and restaurants of the main street. It is fully equipped if you wish to cook your own meals. The owner, Patricia, goes the extra mile to care for all possible needs, from help with booking tours to advice about the island. We very much enjoyed our 8 nights at the Cabanas and hope to return another year.

Located 200 metres from Pea beach and 500 metres from the handicraft fair, Cabañas Tautira offers self-catering accommodation with free Wi-Fi and scenic views in Isla de Pascua.

Fantastic helpful staff providing excellent stay as well as great extra services, like hassle-free car rental at lower price than in town (and good car) and guided island tours. The location is ideal if you do rent a car, but it is also walkable, 3 minutes from the coast and some Moai statues and some 30-40 minutes from the center of town.
