It was a unique space in beautiful surroundings. Personalised service from the staff. Comfortable room and outside space which felt secluded. Wonderful fresh breakfast each morning. Loved it all! I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Kat was a great host - very efficient, bubbly and friendly. Hot tub on the back deck. Loved the location - at the end of a cul-de-sac in a beautiful forest. Could watch the wildlife from our window and see deer tracks in the snow in the morning. Easily the most beautiful location in Golden, about 3 Km outside of town. Needs a car to get there. We had the self contained apartment, which was lovely and although we did not expect any housekeeping, Kat did come and service the apartment twice during our 8 day stay. The kitchen was very well equipped and even supplied baking paper! Highly recommend it!

The lodge is an amazing! Slightly remote location on the skiing mountain. The house itself was very clean very nicely done with authentic design. As the stay is key free, all the instructions were very clear and simple. Breakfast had enough options and were fully stocked.

Cosy lodge, tastefully decorated, with beautiful fireplaces, great amenities, the most comfortable beds and to top it all, fantastic staff, friendly and efficient… making our stay just perfect. The hot tub and sauna after a day of skiing were a hoot as was the location (easy walk to the gondola and from the pistes). We will come again !

We loved our stay at Glenogle. It was in a remote location, in the mountains, very quiet and peaceful, yet a close drive to restaurants, stores and activities. The room was spacious with the most comfortable beds, a little mini fridge and en-suite bathroom. Best sleep we got on our whole trip! We had a little patio door and very much enjoyed the view from out there. Doris, the owner, welcomed us, showed us around -- she and her whole family were just lovely. We cannot recommend this place enough and would choose to come back anytime when in the area!

Wonderful cabin right in the middle of nature. Stunning mountain views — even from the hot tub. The cabin is cozy and well equipped with everything you need. In the evenings and mornings, deer often wander across the meadow, and a bald eagle regularly circles overhead. An absolute dream.

The location is a few kilometres outside the city of Golden but a world away. I felt like I was in Austria when I was what looked like a Gasthaus or German bed and breakfast. It turns out the owner is from South Tirol in Sustria and built this place. When we arrived we couldn’t see much of the Rockies due to fires from Alberta but the next day when it cleared what a panorama. You just don’t get any more beautiful than this Brandy is a superb hostess, so friendly and caring. She loves to talk and so do I so we had a lovely tour of this huge house. The house was so cool even though the outside temps were in the 30’s She showed us a basement room where guests could store food in the fridge or order take out and sit and watch a movie. Our room was upstairs and had a gorgeous balcony view of the mountains. Everything was clean and the place was very comfortable, The house is painted in very bright colours, not everybody’s taste but I loved it. The breakfast again was superb - fresh fruit salad and juice, fresh coffee of course and then a delicious open sandwich with bacon, egg, tomato, cheese served on great bread Our room was comfortable with adequate place to hang clothes, a desk, comfy bed and small but adequate bathroom I cant speak more highly about this place we stayed two nights and it wasn’t enough. We found the place so relaxing overlooking the majestic mountains and so close to Yoho National Park

The lodge was a nice cabin in the middle of nowhere (which in this case is a good thing). The cabin and common spaces were nice and the breakfast room was great with lots of windows overlooking the valley. Breakfast was a good selection and it was nice to interact a bit with all the visitors who were all heading out into the wilderness each day.
